Altri due mesi e mezzo dopo la prima beta ed ecco la stabile.

• Ulteriori ottimizzazioni per la Kad
• Maggiore facilità di connessione di Kad per nuovi utenti: usando la versione installer, kad dovrebbe collegarsi la prima volta senza la necessità di connettersi prima ad un server e fare il bootstrap da fonti conosciute, perchè viene distribuito un nodes.dat di partenza.
• Maggiore protezione della Kad contro attacchi esterni
• Una nuova implementazione di UPnP
• Alcuni miglioramenti per l'interfaccia di Vista
• Correzione di un bug sfuggito nella beta

Barely two and a half months have passed, and yet another new eMule version is on the horizont. 0.49b continues to complete the agenda of its predecessor in the 0.49 series. This means further optimizations for Kad and more important immunity against recently researched routing attacks, several improvements of the GUI for Vista users, a new UPnP implementation, easier connecting to Kad for new users and fixing of an important bug which slipped into the last version.

Quando visualizzate i file della cartella temp con risorse del computer questa estensione vi consente di visualizzare delle nuove colonne Titolo , autore, durata ecc. per sapere a cosa corrisponde ogni file.

Come al solito leggete la guida all'aggiornamento per evitare di perdere i file che state scaricando o i vostri crediti.

Come parole di circostanza mi azzardo a dire che migliorare la Kad ormai è diventato d'obbligo. I server stanno lentamente ma inesorabilmente "scomparendo" o scemando, e la rete decentralizzata serverless è sempre più usata, più sicura, più veloce e stabile, viste le recenti modifiche.

Quindi, usate la 0.49b e buonanotte.

ho notato dei contatti kad che non sono contraddistinti dal solito pallino verde bensì da un punto interrogativo rosso  :confused:
è normale o comincio a preoccuparmi dato che è la prima volta che accade ?

Il pallino con un punto interrogativo rosso indica un Client in stato di errore.

Ciao a tutti

ho installato da poco la 0.49b
Per la prima volta mi è successo uno strano fenomeno. Mi sono connesso e come sempre tutto ok, id alto etc. Dopo un'ora torno e vedo che ID è sempre alto, ma il mappamondo ha una freccia verde e l'altra gialla. Guardo la connessione Kad e mi dice Firewalled. Allora faccio un test delle porte e mi dice che il TCP è fallito!  Eppure id resta alto. Com'è possibile? E soprattutto come rendere la Kad non firewalled? Il mio router pirelli per tiscali adsl è già impostato con le porte aperte ovviamente.

hai provato a cliccare "ricontrolla firewall" o a fare il "bootstrap"?
sennò prova con un nuovo nodes dat che trovi qui:

non capisco pero' perchè a tratti kad sia connesso e a tratti firewalled senza alcun mio intervento. Ad esempio ora gli ho detto di controllare il firewall ed è tornata la freccia gialla, pur restando id alto. Ora mi leggo la guida che mi hai postato.

grazie x la tempestiva risposta, quindi la più sicura è l'istallazione pulita se ho ben capito, ciao
